Coin number 3 to my indian quarter eagle set. Still got a long way to go. It has a lovely burnt orange toning with a hint of purple/blue iridescence. PCGS certified. Opinions?

I agree it's probably a 55 but could be a 58. I've got a 1911 PCGS AU58 that is nearly identical wear wise (reverse upper wing).

very nice. It is difficult to grade these quarter eagles esp. from pics...Are you going for a uniform set of AU-58? I have been wanting to work on a complete set of INdian $2.50 but got side tracked by the 7070... I really enjoy this series.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm going for an AU set, but AU-58 tends to be a favorite since they aren't much more expensive.

Never could keep up with PCGS or NGC. I gave it AU-50
