Takes about 40 seconds to load a page. Driving me nuts!

Ahhhhh!  That's better.  Thanks Bobby!  Boo Hoo! When I hit the Post Reply, it went back to 40 seconds or more to load again. I quit & came back to the home page. I gotta go sell some pies!  Ta Ta for now! life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

It was also really slow for me yesterday, but today it runs smoothly.

AOK today. (0.2 seconds to rattle this change.) Here's an oddity: on slow days, when I hit the "back" arrow, I usually get a warning that to do so may send another form and result in a double post, etc. So I usually end up having to click on the "Active" link. Often, too, instead of the previous time that I accessed the forum I'll get something like "4 minutes" as the default time after which new posts are displayed.
Absolutely no problems this evening, though. I'm running Safari on a Mac, OS 10.4.11.

I find that now and again, CCF will just stop loading at all. It seems like when that happens, it lasts about an hour.
