I thought it might be neat to see who can snag the best ebay deal for a calendar month and have the forum vote. Anyone interested? You would have to be the winner of the auction (for this month from January 1 - 31) and post a link\picture and price you snagged coin for. On Feb 1st we would start a poll for 1 week and most votes wins. |

Maybe the poll should start later than Feb. 1, to allow for folks to receive their purchase(s). That's when they'll really have the ability to convince that it was a great purchase. For example, the coin in the following thread wasn't a known amazing deal until it showed up on the doorstep: https://goccf.com/t/53950 |

No schmidty, no ebay employee here :) I just figured thats where most people get 'deals' as coin shops would rarely overlook a variety (I would hope). Yahoo Auctions, Coin stores or whatever could be game. Steve, I am up for a poll later than Feb 1st. I was just floating the idea. Glad to see some interest! |

I agree with the Feb outline. It lets us all have coin in hand for purchases for auction vs in hand pic submissions.
