Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 01/22/2010 10:30 am Definitely MS, with a good obverse strike and a slightly softer reverse, as indicated by the somewhat indistinct breast feathers. It might be strictly graded as MS-62 due to scuffing on the cheek and nose and chatter in the left obverse field, but CC Morgans often seem to get the benefit of the doubt at the grading services. PCGS would likely call it MS-63. Pretty nice! Report this Post to the Staff

Now the big question, what do you think the value of this coin would be? Not only that, what would you be willing to pay for a coin like this?( the coin is not for sale) Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 01/22/2010 6:59 pm You should be able to get a comparable coin for under $200. I picked up a raw 1883-CC on ebay in 2008 for a total cost of $161. I submitted it to PCGS and it was graded MS-64. The 1884-CC is very close to the '83-CC in price and rarity.
