I don't use them and if a machine passed those out, I'd keep away from that one. I'm one of thoes that hates those things.

Not me, it's much faster to load one coin into a slot than
four! (especially with gloves on!) In certain car washes, the
clock starts ticking down after the first Quarter is deposited,
so you lose seconds while you're loading the other Quarters!
The Dollar coins give you more wash time, when that is the case.

And they're much faster to load into a vending machine than $1 notes...

Manual car washes are one area where credit/debit card readers are
still a very rare sight at present. And with cash, you don't have
to worry about if they're down, or they won't read your card!

They had one of those around here for a while. It changed back when they sold it a few years ago but I kinda liked the dollars. This was back when my kids were younger and I used to bring several of the dollars back home with me to bribe the kids into doing things like cleaning their room etc. I used to pay them off for good grades with those and two dollar bills too. The kids just seemed to like those better than regular old currency. heheh

That is awesome! Wish the car washes around here had dollar coin dispensers!
