Many of the tokens of that period are super cool. There seem to be great variety of them, and many are fairly inexpensive as well. You appear to have a very nice example. Mine are of lesser condition.

I assume that the figure on the coin is a Bishop or someone of such rank? What is that thing that looks like a bathroom plunger though? Did the Brits have indoor plumbing in 1793?

I did some research and with the help of Alganbagerap and Coinzip.com found out this indeed a Brownbill Halfpenny.

The inscription on the edge reads "Payable at H. Brownbills Silversmith."

Very cool! The bishop is Bishop Blaze and he made a number of the obverses of the several districts' Conder Tokens used for money from 1787-1797 when there was no official UK currency.
