If you look at the numbers, typical math from the RCM over the years: mintage * sale price > $1,000,000. As we've seen, pretty much anything goes in terms of design, shape and form. As long as the math (profitability) works out for the RCM then we'll get something out no matter what we think about it - and from a pure business perspective, who cares if you can make money? Here's what I noticed... Anything above $1M (either too expensive or too many produced) I noticed does not sell out. On the other hand... Take the latest "sell out" for instance, the math works out close or under 800K. Coincidence? Report this Post to the Staff

First of series or odd balls are typical cases (Lunar coins, Crystal coins, Square Beaver, Enamel, etc). But I think the $1,000,000 threshold is key. Report this Post to the Staff
