Hi, has anyone had chance to get Vancouver 2010 Silver Maple Leaf Bullion Coin Set? It was sold out before it was posted on mint.ca. Try to get one set, but can't even see the item on ebay.

They sold out fast..by my calculation within 48 hrs of them being posted on the website. I saw them then placed my order sucessfully.
I got an email yesterday saying my shipped, but it wasnt unitl 4pm.
Im hoping to get it Tuesday or Wednesday.
Im a mint basher up to this point pertaining to their inability to ship in a timely manner, so if it gets here without issue, Ill shut up for a while.
The set looks sweet..pricey but what the heck.

I ordered a set over the phone the same day it was announced but I was told that it may not ship until the first or second week in February.

It looks like the RCM shipping estimate that I received when I placed my order on the 26th was a little pessimistic because my set arrived today.....I got set #215/4000

I've also got the regular versions of each of the three SML's in this set.

I got mine today as well.
#706/4000.
Lets face it, the printed material I got with the coin, was the 706th one made.

Well, technically it's 3oz of silver and a few grams of gold LOL.

While the buyer will probably never make his/her money back on this set, the seller made off like a bandit!

I was lucky enough to order this set before it was sold out. I was hesitant to pay C$200+8% for it since it's essentially bullion coins so it should cost not much more than 3 ounces of silver ~$50. Now I wonder, should I sell it on ebay for $300+ or just keep it and enjoy? The mintage was 4000, is it low enough to make it "rare" and grow in price even more? Any comments are greatly appreciated.

Im like you, I love the set, but I only bought it to make some money off it.
My concern is, will the demand for this set still be as strong after the olympics are over, or better yet, 25 years from now when I want to liquidate as part of my retirement?
HHmmmm..what to do...what to do....

I think the mintage of 4000 is low enough to keep interest up for at least a few years.
