It rim is bigger than the other on one side what is that called agian I have to check my black book about it

Oops I didn't notice the sign is a broadstruck its a very nice example of it too.

Good find. I always check my change, because where else are you gonna get collectable coins at face value.

Looks more like an off-center strike (if the reverse is like the obverse) or mis-aligned dies (if the reverse looks normal). Is this coin the same size as a regular nickel? If so, it is not a broadstrike.

I added a photo of the reverse to my original post. The overall circumference of the coin is a little larger than a "regular" nickel. I'm not noticing a big difference on the reverse but, error coins are not my forte. What do you think? Broadstrike or off center?

Thanks Rick! This little baby truly was just in my pocket change. I have so few error coins (that I've discovered) so my knowledge in that area is really limited to the descriptions in the back of the little ole Red Book and on the https://www. Thanks again!
