Hello all! I´ve searched many places in the internet also went to a library. No success so far idying it. So I would be more than pleased if you could help me out with it. I have no idea what it could be. My wild guess would be that is Polish but I dont have certain proof.

Many thanks,

Ralf

My guess would be Lithuania in union with Poland. I read "Sigismund" in the legend. You're sure to get better info soon.

I agree. That's the monogram of king Sigismund August, and the coin looks like a 3 grosze piece.

Thanks for the information so far. Also does anyone know the estimated value of this coin? The reason I´m asking is this I wanted to trade it since I´m collecting only russian coins at the moment. I dont want to give it away for nothing so any opinion is appreciated. It is very difficult to find anything about it, at least in the internet.
All the best,

Ralf

Alas, your guess is as good as mine; the Krause catalogues only go back to 1601, and the CoinArchives website now charges $600 per year to access it.
