1956 Multible Separate Mint Marks ?

I am to understand that this type of 2 Mint Mark coin is known but is said to be very rare. I just went thought 5000 unc Federal Reserve (D) rolls and found (2) I am sure of only 2 things! A) your eyes will go dead! and B) That if the coin is not an upper AU or UNC you will never see it. livingdinasaur Pillar of the Community United States 1571 Posts	Posted 02/05/2010 5:44 pm I thought at first it might be the 1956D-1OM-001, but after copmparing photos, decided it is NOT. I was also thinking a possible clash, but after checking the clash areas that would leave that type remnant, I have also decided it is NOT a clash remnant. While I haven't heard of that "other type" of MM. I can'y say it doesn't exist. I am not that experienced, nor have been a variety collector that long. Check with coppercoins, or one of the members on coppercoins.com. I'm sure some of the old-timers can help. Report this Post to the Staff
