hey back on line now ,new hard drive,not sure what happened I scan daily for virus's and stay on only good sites so not sure

It is not necessary to buy a new harddrive
If you reformat a harddrive it will not remember anything not even the most malicious virus

that is unless the hard drive just dies, I have had a few die on me in the past 7 years especially them dadgum maxtors, but heck they sound like they are falliong apart from the first day you put them things in the computer. I have always wondered why they have to make their hard drives so dern loud when everyone else is trying to make theirs quieter

Since I have a non intel computer running soooo hot
the only thing I hear are all the ventilators
First they were like an aeropland take off
Now the silent ones I bought are more like a vacuum cleaner
They offered me water cooling but somehow I think that water and electonics should not meet

I could nt reformat the drive or restore the computer or reboot, it was Fried Extra crispy stle, but thank you for the welcome back and feed back
