is this quarter a clda error or what is it and I was wondering the grade and value of this coin ?

I don't think it is an error.It appears to be circulation toning and it looks a little dirty also.

Nope, just a dirty/stained/toned/whatever coin worth 25 cents. A missing clad error would be dramatically light and have weak detail.

but there is no where and in deff isn't dirty its the color of the coin

If it is a cladding error, there would be *wear* or rather, the details on the coin will be very low. However, your quarter has sharp details, and if you look at the QU in quarters, you can see the cupronickle white showing through.

By the way, why is this from an ebay auction?

Looks like it sold for $30.00 on a relist.

looks like it sold for 30.00 on the 3rd then relisted and didn't sell on the 7th. Maybe the buyer realized it wasn't what was advertised and either got their money back or never paid, either way I hope no one got taken because of a uneducated seller

this is what missing clad layer looks like. Notice it looks like copper and doesn't just look like a stained or toned coin like the one shown here

Scratches are on holder not coin
