Does anyone know about any country minting commemoratives for the Women's World cups?

4 tournaments are played since 1991 and there's a new one next year in China.

I know China minted 2 coins set commemorating the first woman world football tournament. Please see the following pictures. Now you see them before I introduce them in my introduction thread.

Nice ones.

It's a pity China couldn't make it after the quarterfinals that year.

The Australian Mints have only strucked four coins with "Football" as the theme. This one though not strucked to commemorate any World Cup was minted to commemorate the sport for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Technical Specs:

Metal: Alu-Bronze
Diameter: 38.74mm
Weight: 20grams

Really nice coin. The coin looks more beautiful than picture on the book.
Because picture on book can not show the original luster of the bronze coin.

Sydney 2000 series is really a nice collection. Also a big collection of coins.

It is daunting to collect the whole Sydney 2000 Olympic series of:

28 $5.00 Alu-Bronze Coins
16 $5.00 Silver Proofs
8 Golds
1 Kilomasterpiece
2 Paralympic Silver Proofs
1 10oz Paralympic Silver Proof

Guaranteed to put a dent in the bank account of a "normal collector", but they are all beautiful coins...[:p]
