I have an original 1966 "Royal Australia Mint 50 cent $200" calico bag with the 20 x Bank NSW Rolls in it (20 coins in a roll). Total 400 coins $200 x 50cent. The bag is obtained from Bank NSW in 1966 as it was originally delivered to them from the RAM. I like to get some guidance on the value of this calico bag of coins, if someone can help.
As this is turning into a for sale thread, it has been moved to the appropriate section. Feel free to include the link if you see fit -GO

I could sell each roll separately on ebay probably over $200 a roll as each coin is choice unc., but I just can't break it, up. Might be this is the only one in existence. I even have the original bag label with it.

If you can afford to keep it, keep it as it is. Reckon it should be well over 5 grand. Would be a real shame if it had to be taken apart.

Have not sold it yet, but, if not selling as one lot I got people lining up for smaller number of rolls for $250 each.

ooooh interesting! What does this calico bag look like? And in Australia, do they roll up the coins and then put them into mint bags, too?
