I have some very nice 1980s and 1990s Lincolns from high AU to MS and many have cracks in the copper. This is typically on the reverse above the memorial and the tops of the "T" in States. I hate to let them go but expect that they will eventually do what all these zinc coins do and that is corrode and go away. What are your thoughts and are they worth holding on to?

If you can keep them air tight they may not have the issues as the circulated ones. Something has to react with the zinc. At least I hope I'm right as I too am saving some very nice pieces with similar cracks in the copper.
