AND THIS, which I find online is a 1910 10-Cent piece form China. This is not a picture of the one I have (scanner down right now), but mine matches this one exactly, character for character:
The inscription at the top of the coin in the image says "
xuan tong 3 year" which would be the 3rd year of the reign of Emperor Puyi. This would date the coin as 1911 instead of 1910.
The characters in the middle are "
da qing yin bi" which means "Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty silver coin".
The inscription at the bottom is "
shi mei huan yi yuan" which translates as "10 coins exchange for one
yuan (dollar)".
The reverse side inscription is "
yi jiao" which means "one
jiao" (10 cents).
Unfortunately, I do not collect this type of Chinese coin so I am unable to identify further or help authenticate.
