Do you have to use delivery confirmation when you print out postage from PayPal or can that feature be turned off? I rarely use DC anyways. I figure why pay for something you rarely use.

You do not have to choose DC if you dont want to, there is a option to either check it for DC or leave it unchecked if you dont want it. I think the default is unchecked

I ALWAYS use conformation. If you ever have a buyer say they never received the item you have proof one way or the other. If you don't use conformation and they are deceitful and say they never received the item, they can contest there payment thru paypal and
you are out the money and the item.
Sorry to say, there are people who will do just that.
Rest in Peace

nds, Delivery Confirmation is only 14 cents anyway when you print it out yourself, as opposed to 65 cents if the green label is filled out and purchased at the PO. Might as well give yourself a little extra assurance that the item arrived.

I believe Delivery Confirmation is free if you print shipping label thru paypal. They charge $1.35 for signature confirmation.

I would not sell a coin without Delivery Confirmation, not even a $10 smoothie.

Roger that! I put DC on even 99 cent sales of Boy Scout patches. It takes only one rotten apple to spoil the bushel and some people will issue a complaint or negative feedback on the slightest pretense.

If you are accepting Paypal for an auction and you don't use DC, you are not covered if the buyer wants to start a dispute and say they didn't receive it. Paypal has a lot of rules that sellers need to follow unless they want to lose any dispute that a buyer starts.

I strongly advise using DC always. It's a very cheap way to protect yourself.
