Very nice start in my opinion the best coin design the mint has every put on a silver coin. I wish you all the best on your search for more great looking walkers. It has been sometime since I have been back here to are community. It is good to see that it is going strong.

Thanks bruce, I picked up a '36-s and '34-s in XF-AU this week so I am still slowly but enjoyably working on this set!

Quote: how much are the AU -MS coins running you avg? Depends on the date. The '40's can be had in AU for around $10-$15. The '30's, $20-$30. The earlier you get in this series the higher the price it seems.

Very nice set you got there!
I have a pretty good collection of early dates in the VF grade as that is all I can afford. Some of my favorites are the 16s,17sObv,19pds,20d,21pds,23s.....

Very nice coins, and a short set from the mid-30s should be quite doable in VF - AU for sure. Good luck!

I don't think they run at all. Quote: Depends on the date. The '40's can be had in AU for around $10-$15. The '30's, $20-$30. The earlier you get in this series the higher the price it seems. Kind of true with all coins. The older they are, the more difficult it is to find them in high grades and the price too just keeps going up. So not you have to finish from 1916 to 1941 in that same grading.

You have the fun part left because a lot of people don't realize how hard early date Walkers are to find that are not messed with. Over-graded, market graded, cleaned, added MMs are just to named a few of the problems in hunting raw coins and don't think the TPG coins are safer because they have some of the same problems. I'm sure Carl would say the same thing. Good luck and happy hunting... The best Walker book is online for free [http] http://www.stellacoinnews.com/index...alf-dollars/[/http] Here are a few keys from my latest set that I'm working on.

I've been working on the walkers lately and have a bunch of the blast white EF-AU with a few BU mixed in but I must honestly say I actually love the look of the coins like 50 cent has above with the beautiful antique patina. Of course the dates are pretty nice also (don't have any of those).
