As some of you suggested I put some extra pages in my Lincoln Dansco for early proofs and Satin finish coins.
This turned out to help me out alot, it really motivated me to get those holes filled.
I now only lack 3 proofs, not bad considering I didn't even collect Lincoln Cents before this year.
Just wanted to post pics of my progress. Scratches on the '38 are on the slide not the coin. Still lacking the '36,'37 and the'41 if anybody has any extras. I know the '36 is gonna cost a "pretty penny"
Thanks to all!

Thad, what is your set up there? You put them in an airtight then in a 2x2?

I'm also curious about your storage, Thad. Tell us more, I have never been satisfied with my Dansco albums. I worry about the coin holder material toning the edges of red coins, there are not slots for things that I would like to add and the plastic slide covers scratch after a period of time. What are your thoughts?

Steps:

1) Remove all traces of moisture with a quick acetone rinse.
2) Place in Airtite holder
3) Place Airtite inside a quarter size 2x2, it fits perfectly
4) Place 2x2 in plastic 2x2 binder page
5) Place in page binder
6) Put binder into a giant ziplock bag with a huge desiccant pack and a BU cent (sacrificial) and seal
7) Put package into large SDB at bank

I'm SUPER paranoid about my proofs. Lincoln proofs tend to haze and corrode....with my system I suspect I'll NEVER have to worry about my proofs changing.

What pages do you use, I'm surprised they will fit with the airtight in the 2x2.

Cowens brand only! They fit, but it's tight. I've tried a lot of pages and Cowans are superior.....but they do cost more. Money well spent!

Thad, obviously you have considered airtite's album and ruled it out. I am curious why. Is ti the limited size/space per page?

Jim,

I live the flexibility of being able to add more than one example. This is more important in my biz strikes, but it applies to my proofs too.
