I'll never finish mine.....too darn expensive since I refuse to go with the lower grades.

well, all mine are G-AU, only one G/VG-1921, F-27-s VF 23, 24, 20, 20-s 17t1 17-st1 and EF 24d-30s, 18-s, 18-d AU 1918 so I guess mine aren't really considered low grade

Nice set, Moe. Lets see some more forum members sets.

I wanted an AU or better set and this is where I'm at so far.
I have posted it before but have upgraded a couple of the coins since. Standing Liberty quarters are one of my favorite series. This is a scan so the luster does not show well. I have a few more to upgrade to Au+ but I'll get there someday. I have been working on this set for many years looking for nicely struck coins.

Click on the picture and it will get larger so you can see more details.

I thank all for saying my set is nice but I am in absolute AWE of Gary's gorgeous collection! (An EF-45 1916?!! Unbelievable! That's an easy $13,000 coin!)

I agree........they are both gorgeous sets.......and most of the 23 and later coins can still be had in higher grades for under $100 each.

gorgeous sets guys. I'm 2 coins in.....25 and 27S. Long, long, long way to go. Both are VF or better.....I'm going to try to stay there, but will need some luck with a couple of them.
Rest in Peace
