I recently bought a few VAMs from trbcoins at ebay.

When I got back from Iraq I made a quick pass through some 300 coins I had bought while I was gone. A few of his looked whizzed, but I didn't have time to run them to a dealer. Now I am back in Iraq for a few more months.

The thing that is worrying me now is that some of his coins go "Buy It Now" at or below what Heritage shows as wholesale.

Has anyone bought from these guys?

Thanks,

Seth

I had one deal with them, a '78-S VAM-35 that was correctly attributed and decently (within a point) graded. A nice coin overall. Since, I've seen a couple attributions I questioned in their auctions. No personal knowledge regarding whizzed coins, although generally their pics are good enough to catch it.

At his prices (understand raw coins on ebay can be had a lot cheaper than Heritage, if you know what you're doing), I believe a few whizzed ones out of 300 could be sucked up into your overall profit. More-collectible VAMs will lose less value than "regular" Morgans when cleaned, as well.

Be safe over there.
