1950-D Lincoln Cent Grading Question

Hello Everyone,

Please see this 1950-D Lincoln Cent. It looks to be a MS63 but the "damage" on the obverse/reverse clearly knocks it down. I am curious to hear others thoughts on what this "damage" is? PVC damage or cleaning? Seems odd...

It is not damage, it is just toning brown

Interesting. I've never seen one tone with such a distinct line. That is what was throwing me off.
