The color appears a very nice, original brown. Some may call me crazy....but I actually like to see those old carbon spots on there. It shows the originality of the surfaces.
Sadly, there's some old damage to the head. It must have happened around the time the coin was minted because the patina is even across the damage. It has raised the metal, notice the friction marks, so that area became a wear point. That hurts this coin.

I blame Thad though...he's the one that painted the bullseye and pointed the gun...all I had to do was squeeze the trigger...
