Post An Ike (Eisenhower Dollar)

Here are all 30 of my Ikes, no proofs or silvers, but I love them regardless of that:




All were gotten as change or for face from the bank. This is my favorite US Coin to collect actually. Front and back all correspond so the Ike in top left corner is the same on first and second picture and so on.

Only the 1976 ike has the bell reverse. It commemorates 200 years as a country

I got out my old Whitman folder of Ikes a few hours ago. I started to look for varieties. This book has not been opened for likely over 15 years.
No varieties...but what an amazing looking 1971-D! Some of the ones in the book are shiny, but you can see marks on them. This 71-D is virtually free of scratches, nicks, marks etc.

I don't yet know modern grading. Is this one in MS condition? In hand the fields are flawless. I included two OBV pics to show what appear to be marks in the one are not there when the lighting is moved.

In hand and magnified I did not see the tiny scratches on the cheek until after the pics were taken.

This one just really stood out of the bunch when I opened the book.

So is it my own ignorance, or is this a really special Ike?

As stated, the dual dated (1776-1976) Eisenhower dollars had a special reverse to commemorate the US bicentennial. Our Quarters and Half Dollars did the same.

Ok - got it so the iPhone can take decent pics, now I need to work on the lighting. Here is another pic (REV did not come out for some reason) of the 71-D Ike posted the other day.
in hand this gem just catches your eye and holds it. The clarity of fields makes it looks out of place with other ones. If you guys say you think its worth PCGS-ing, I might do it.
