Wife picked up 105 Ikes at face today after I received a call that they were available. Ask the Gold and Silver Exchange Pawn shop maybe a month ago, if they would part with any and they just today found my phone number. Will add them to our collection of 172 other Ikes. Webekin

I picked up my first 6 Ike's today at a local WF branch. I was excited! All six are AU 76-P Type 2's. Are they worth keeping?

This arrived today, not bad for 99 cents I'm thinking. Question though -- is this artificial toning?

Nice coin but the color does not look market acceptable to me.

With that style of steely blue, I first suspect heat treatment, thus, A.T.

I would never care how the toning came about on a (less than) face value purchase.

It is.

Especially since I cleared out all of that lumpy lost change to pad my budget.

Kidding aside, turns out the prices on these Ikes are better than what the price guides indicate. Certainly a lot cheaper than filling those last two holes in the 7070. I could buy 20 to 30 of these Ikes for what those two holes will cost me.

Cool '71 jbuck, the obverse appears slightly off-center.
My new '73: Bad pics, really harsh light, the eye appeal is actually pretty good.

The price was right, and iv'e needed a MS clad ike anyway. Good date doesn't hurt.

Stunning pic of your most recent jbuck. Looks like something that should be made into a wall mural.

Once I get them all, I might have to do a collage for the office.

That would be a seriously amazing wall mural. What is you proof pic taking setup again? I like the darker bottom and lighter top. The color also is showing its obviously silver and I think this adds a lot.
