Quote:Today I pulled the trigger on a 1976 Variety 1 to complete the eight coin run of Bicentennial Ikes. Congrats, jbuck! Looking forward to photos. It's impossible not to get a smile on your face going through this thread.

Thanks! I got shipping confirmation and tracking. Right now it says Tuesday, but I hope that is very conservative.

Any Ike is a good Ike. I'll cruise on over to the other forum and check out the grading game.

When I was looking over all of the Ikes I saw that this MS-64 looked as good as the MS-65 76-V1 Ikes that I was seeing at three times the price while many of the other MS-64 Ikes looked less attractive than this one. Either the photos were lying or I found what I wanted to call it a so I went for it. I am glad I did. The good news is that it looks fantastic in hand and I am very happy with it. It fits in well with his MS-65 brothers. 64 is just a number.
