Ive started asking for "large dollars" when I go into different banks, and I've actually been surprised at the number of Ikes that I've gotten. Today, I got a bag of 12, and one was a 1976 clad proof, variety 2! Thats the first proof coin I've pulled from a teller tray that I can remember .

I guess I will try and do a collection from circulation. I doubt I will find the silver proofs, but the rest should be fun to search for!

I just picked up another 20 of them. The teller is always happy to give them to me. I'm pretty excited about this sweet deal I have going.

I wish I had found it in a bank box. It was a purchase I made 6 or 7 years ago and forgot I had it. It was in one of my PCGS blue boxes that was supposed to be just Morgans.

Hey Baysinger, could I get a copy of that last Ike pic from you? I'd like that for a backdrop on my Mac desktop - nice pics!

I count 55 IKE's in the top pyramid picture;

5 x 5 on the bottom (25)
4 x 4 on the next (16)
3 x 3 on the next (9)
2 x 2 on the next (4)
and one on top (1)

Nice Silver Proof Dave!

Yep, 55 in that picture. At my last count I have 118 of them. I am really trying not to go get more... but they keep calling my name!

This is the only Ike I have. It's a 1971-S that I bought it at an antique store for like $3 about 7 years ago. It's a bit messy because I haven't taken good care of it over the years. It's way shinier in person though.
