Quote: you are seeing a bunch of lens issues, not coin issues. Good! Better scratches on the holder than the coin. Nice coin!

I was lucky enough to nab one of the Special Edition First new Ike Book by Rob & the gang...will collect the S.E. of all the others as they come out...for those of you who missed it, it's a shame, as they stopped production at I believe less than 50 books(signed by all the IKE GROUP members, a CD, and, special MUD ROOM Chapter(which has my coveted 1974-S clad Eskimo Boot Peg Leg shown(Thanks Rob!), so, when the opportunity comes up for the next S.E book, grab it..they will become classics and cherished books for your Library(and, of course, the IKE info is out of this world, in this sometimes controversial series). I look foward to this new IKE grading book.....(over the years, after sending pics to Rob, on IKES I had found, and, thought I had struck it rich with MS66 coins, he gently brought me back down to earth, and, explained the complicated details..saving me a lot of $$$$ @ Anacs)...I have yet to land any MS66 graded Ike, while hunting...someday, I hope, heck, might as well shoot for a 67 while I'm dreamin.

Never mind I found a good one.
Ikers:
Please direct me to a good photo of, say, the March 1972 type 2 reverse I can print. I need a clear image of the earth.

Yes, I check my local banks...just picked up 500 dollars worth...nice selection...had 60 AU 1971-D, 20 GEM BU 1976-D-T-I(many with abraded PEG LEGS), and 20 errors and varieties(1972-D DDR-OO2, 1972-D DDO-OO1 the usual Talon head clashes, and, some scarce & rare PEG LEGS, 1974-D chopped almost to the top leg, 1977-D, 1978-D flared, both Rare in the Ike Book tables), 1976-T-I & II) I have NEVER found a 1972-P T-II, in probably 10,000 Ikes searched since 1999! It's gotta be close....off to another bank.... cg

Mach1--I did my usual..hunt for errors and varieties, and high-grade keepers, then, sell the leftovers.... Jim..and others interested in the Special Edition Ike book that will be next out, best to go to the IKEGROUP.ORG site, and read....or, write Rob E. from the site, lead author...you do NOT want to miss these as they come out..once-in-a-lifetime books, unless you want to pay a hefty premium on the secondary market later(I doublt any of the SE 1st book are even for sale..if I sold mine, which I'm not, you'd have to pay me at least 350 for it, which would probably be a market price, considering they only made I believe less than 50 of the 100 they could have made....write Rob, and tell him to put you on the mailing list now, so it's a done deal.

Which of the Ike $ error coins would you more experienced Ike collectors suggest I look for first?
Thanks, - JIm
