I went to the bank for a box of dimes today and while I was waiting I leaned over and saw the teller had a few Ikes. Turns out there were 5, and he sold them to me.

Nothing spectacular, but any day I can get 5 ikes without even looking for them is a good day.

I found a 1978 ike at the bank!
Ok, maybe I'm a little too happy, but still... nothing beats ikes for face.
and... I even made it my pocket piece.

Here is one that I picked up last night for about ten bucks. I am not so sure about it being silver though...https://goccf.com/t/124789

Great looking Ike oih82w8! Most certainly silver and MOST certainly a good deal at $10! You can't grade it for that.

All '71-S UNC's are silver. If it was NOT silver, then you'd have a really have someting special!!

Nice pickup! I got a Silver UNC Ike (I can't remember what year) for $8.50 awile back and thought I got a good deal. You got me beat hands down!

Thought I'd ask the bank teller at my main bank for some Ikes and she sure did deliver!

biokemist6 stated that; "Scanners can do many funky things to the appearance of a coin, nice for showing details but terrible for color and luster."

That would be so cool if it was an "off-metal" Ike discovery! I will post my image of the con when I receive it.
