Inbetween time, When Grandpa decided to send my little brother a "lucky" $2 bill, I had to throw in my favorite, low value odd money. Thanks...I do not see any references in the IKE Book about double die obverse on T-II's....my specimen shows a light spread on all areas, including date...washed out more than a bit, due to die state, but, noticible...right arm of T, and staff of G, in IGWT shows best(too light to shoot, sorry)...any comments welcomed.

Nice AU March T2. I just pulled all my T2's to check and see which are March and which are August.

I bought this hoping it might be a straight Peg Leg, but, when in hand, no go...it DOES have the DDO-OO3 Obverse, light spread IGWT...should add a small premium. Has the correct die markers(I had to leave out the pic of the small die crack marker between 1-9 in date)...notching present, but, my poor camera has a hard time grabbing them..in hand, with loupe, it's fairly nice...not huge, but, decent. A nice IKE for collection. Calvin      |

Thanks for reminding me of the March dies by the way... Just looked through mine, 22 of my 52 T2's are March's.

Nice coinhunter...the 72-D is notorious for the Peg Leg R in Liberty, and clashed dies, so keep hunting!

I've found the bulk of those in the past three months or so. I search between $1k and $2k in Ikes a week, so they add up. One of my recent bags basically had 200+ '72's of this kind of quality;  Also had about a half dozen T2's, 4 of which were UNC. I think I've got 2,000+ Ikes put aside that are 63 or better. A few real high quality ones too. One of these days I'll send some in to get slabbed... Edited by FadeToBlack
