Found this in a roll today. Question: Has anyone ever tried Nic A Date for Buffalo nickels on a V nickel to bring out the date.? Is it even possible?

Ive seen 1885's on ebay certified as restored dates, so I assume they were acid dated. Go for it! Nothing to lose!

Does Nick A Date work better that clear vinegar? I haven't tried either yet.

Nicadate is much faster. Vinegar can take several days or even a couple of weeks.
