Just curious, as I've never messed with NicADate: given the value of the V-Nick before, did the application of NicADate on the coin affect the value of the coin in any way - lesser or greater?
It probably helped the value of this coin because now it has a date. I know Buffalo nickels that have been restored has a substantial discount on their value, being used mostly as space fillers, although some of the key dates bring decent money on ebay. As an example I have a few restored date Buffaloes on CCF auction site right now for only a few dollars. There are those also that consider them worth only face or a few cents more to be used making jewelry etc.
