I think this coin would just make F-15.

Nice F-15. It definitely looks genuine to me. Could you point out why you believe it is a counterfeit, Lafaa?

The wear does look to make it a 15, most of the 'high spots' are gone. But it is a nice looking coin, too bad it has seen some type of 'bath'. It looks real, the rim of a fake is different than the rim of this coin.

I have added some pics taken from a slightly different angle.

Its definitely authentic. The lettering style matches up perfectly with the authentic one viewed via laafaas link.

However I question whether its been dipped. I would appreciate more opinions or observations on whether others think this coin has been dipped.

It just looks like a good ole original Morgan with the toning highlights on the high points that I love.

The back makes me think its been wiped at least, because usually I don't see grunge patterns like that on problem free coins. Maybe not aggressively, but at least to some extent. I'd say net F-15, slightly better details

I'd grade it VF20 and it hasn't been dipped by me! 2 seconds in E-Z-Est leaves my Morgans blast white!

I don't have the slightest idea why you would think that.
