1. Does ebay inform the Seller who reported them?
2. Does ebay look at the Reporting Party in a negative light?
3. If ebay passes & lets stand a reported active Auction, does ebay sanction the Reporting Party in any way?

Input and guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I complain to ebay about listings all the time. Sometimes ebay responds, sometimes they do not. They ruined ebay in my opinion when they eliminated the ability to converse with people bidding on coins. Back then I used to get hate mail from sellers all the time when I pointed out their obvious counterfeits. (And yes I was careful to only do it when I was 99.99999999999% sure the coin was a fake)

And by the way, if you use the link on this Forum to voice your concerns ebay reacts faster.

I'm batting 1.000 using that link. They've pulled every single auction I've reported, in no more than a few hours. I'm talking half a dozen a month, for a couple years now.

Of course, you need to give them a fairly detailed reason, and you have to be right.
