The coin itself is quite thin. I know nothing about it at all. Any help here would be awesome!

It's from the Swiss canton of Sitten (Sion), now known as Valais.

Edit to add: The titles on the coin are those of Francois-Joseph Supersaxo, Bishop of Sion and President and Count of the Republic of Valais. The denomination is either a batzen (24mm) or 1/2 batzen (21mm), depending on the size.

It does measure 24 mm, so it is a batzen. Thanks Sap!

Mine is 2002, so it's not that much of an improvement.

KM# 27, CV $4 in VG.
