Heres another unknown asian coin from my grandfathers wartime horde. I have no clue what this one is at all. Anyone got an idea on the country, date, and value? Thanks!

Its a Japanese 1 Sen coin. As far as the date goes, someone else will have to help with that.

yea I figured it had to be from either Japan, China, or Manchuko since those were the places he spent the most time in. Thanks for the info!

If you have access to a Krause, you can ID the date from a chart that is usually towards the front of the book.

Japan 1 sen, Showa Year 12 = 1937. KM/Y# 47. CV 50¢ in EF.
