I have never seen a silver eagle in a greysheet before. Perhaps it is in one of the supplements that I don't get.

I'd guess it to be around $45-50 Greysheet these days.

Thanks, the last one I bought at a coin store I asked the guy what the cost was and he looked at something in a greysheet and came back with a price. The 1988S in the RedBook is higher than some of the others.

oh, I see...it is in there every other week. bid/ask $52/$54 Don't know what the deal is in the RedBook. There aren't any proofs lower than that in greysheet, but there are a few that are higher.

Just got home from work and checked E-Bay. I started out bidding $60.00 on it, that was before I checked here. When the bidding got up to $49.00 I thought I better raise my bid, again before I checked here, to $75.00. I have been out bid, the bid is $76.00. I think that is way to much, I am done.
