Got a 1909 Half eagle back from ANACS at AU55.I think it should have graded higher and the $ difference is considerable a bit higher in grade.Has anyone had any luck with gold at another grading company?

I don't submit coins very much, but over the years I have heard older graded ANAC's were crossed over, and perhaps a grade above, but these days and how tuff all grading companies are...I waiting for this reply too

ANACS has been rather strict under the new ownership. Is this a good or bad thing? Depends. But I do feel that they were too hard on some of my coins that I sent relatively recently.
