As of today, Friday, June 16, I have handed out, or mailed out 35 Colorado Statehood Quarters. It has been wonderful seeing so many looks of happy surprise on faces. The quarters are on their way to Coin Community members who requested them, and provided a mailing address. If your quarter doesn't arrive by late next week, let me know and we'll try again. I still have a few available should anybody be interested. Just e-mail me.  |

I don't think members would abuse it, and besides I plan to change it one day soon.

This has been fun for me!
Totals now are 48 coins given out, or mailed out.
Just heard from Buffaloboy, and his quarters will be in the mail Monday morning.
I'll be interested in hearing what Coin Community members think of the Colorado quarter. I'd like to say it's my favorite, but I'm still not sure. It is attractive however. At least I think it is.
What a nice experience the launch ceremoy was. F-16 fly-over, Hearing the Governor and other dignataries, and watching the Colorado quarters arrive by stagecoach from the mint. Very enjoyable, and fun to witness a little bit of history.

thank you gary. Just got home from a trip to childrens Hospital in seattle with my daughter. The quarter where in the mail box when I got home alway fun to get coin in the mail. Already looked over them and added them to my maps and books thank you.

Gary The coin arrived today and I want to thank you for the chance to own a first day struck coin, it will be the only one I have in my collection unless I just get lucky somehow and someone else attends one in their state and I am lucky enough for them to pick one up for me. I think it is beautiful as well and I really do appreciate it
