One 1964 in the last box. It was an end coin but the reverse was showing. I could tell it was silver as soon as I opened the box.

two firsts for me today in the dime world. First when I was grocery shopping happened to walk by a coinstar and looked down at the reject bin saw some coins in it so I grabed them to look and ended up with a 49 dime. next first was I went through a box tonight and got skunked on silver but on the last roll of the box while edge checking saw one dime that stuck out like a sore thumb saw I had to check it was guessing it was going to be a 2012 but it ended up being a 1996w

GREAT find in the W, Gold Panner. I am holding out hope for one of those. Today I was convincing myself that I won't ever find one. Thanks for giving me hope!

Quick question - Are 2009's really worth hanging onto? On one hand, I'd be happy for another date to look out for, but on the other I would be upset at all the rolls I've gone though recently possibly passing one up.

The 2009 dimes there were 96.5 million P minted and 49.5 million D minted. Sounds like a lot but looking at the previous years they minted over a billion at each mint since 1999. So some people speculate that in 40-50 years 2009 is going to be a key date.
Worth hanging onto? That's ultimately your call...

Not exactly roll searching, but I help count the meter money for our university. Go through about $400 of dimes daily, and silver finds have spiked the last few weeks. What was one silver per week has become an almost daily occurrence. Even got a few mercs.
