i got 2 boxes of customer wrapped rolls yesterday to try and change it up.got the flu while out yesterday and dont fill like searching them yet

did my first ever dime roll hunt and after 3 rolls my eyes were burning! How do you guys hunt dimes? Everything is so small!

I agree. My glasses are okay for one or two, but I cannot look at any larger quantity dimes without using some sort of magnification.

Aside from silver or coins you need for your personal collection, are there any post-1963 keys that people look for?

The only thing I can think of would be NIFC coins that made it into circulation, like proofs or the 1996-W dime (released only in the 1998 mint set).

finally felt good enough to look through my 2 boxes of cwr,s found 3 at 323 now.i always dread getting boxes there becaus people love to cheat.one roll had 7 pennies in it and several rolls only had 49 dimes.but at least I got some silver

Philadelphia only minted 96.5 million of them, the fewest by that mint since 1962. Denver made only 49.5 million, making it the lowest mintage regular issue dime since the 1958 Philly coin, and the lowest mintage dime from Denver since 1955. How hard are they to find? At least where I live, I find no 2009 dimes more often than not when I purchase 10 rolls. I have managed to accumulate barely a roll of the 2009-Ds, and only 12 of the 2009-Ps in my sporadic searching of them over the past 21 months. The 1969 and 1971 Philly coins are also tough to find for me here on the West coast. High grade (AU/BU) 1982 and 1983 dimes are also worth saving since mint sets were not issued either year and they were not saved in quantity. High grade examples, expecially the Philly coins, can bring quite a premium. Also, don't forget to look for the rare 1982 "no P" variety. Since I recently achieved one of my main goals of completing a Jefferson nickel set from CRH, I'll likely hit the Dimes a little harder in 2018 - in search of those 2009 coins, errors, and silver. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

And easy to forget... growing up, there were really no modern coins worth saving or looking for other than the Small Date Lincolns and the 1972 Double Die Error... it's like we have to retrain our brains! 2 boxes last night and got 2 silvers makes 325.sort of back on track.got 2 more boxes to check tonight will report when I finish them
