If you check out the grading forum, you've undoubtedly seen this coin. I got it in this morning and have spent the better part of the day trying to get decent pictures of it.

I am hoping that somebody here who has a penchant for these little jewels won't mind helping me with the attribution. I can't even find a copy of "Federal Half Dimes"....and since I am a type collector, I am having a hard time justify buying a 75 dollar book for each series. If I could find a used copy, I'd be all over it. If you can help me in either respect, I'd be very grateful.

I'd gladly swap a copy of "treasure hunting Liberty nickels" and a new Dansco supreme Liberty nickel album, for a dog eared copy of the Half Dime book.

Here are some pics of the coin in case you're of a mind to help. I posted 2 reverse pictures, and just one obverse picture.

Thanks........Chance

im not 100% positive but it looks to me like a LM13.2, V12a if I am correct, it is a fairly common variety, but a very nice piece.

Thanks for the info. I just want to make sure that it's not too nice a coin for a type set. If it was one worth enough to fill another hole...then I'd probably be inclined to do that. I'm intrigued by these little guys, but the last thing I need right now is an addiction.

I got a fairly good deal on it, so I think it can just stay in the slot for now.

Chance
