Things have really dried up. I used to find at least 1 WAM and 1 RPM in a box of cents. I just finished my third box with no WAMs, no RPMs, only a few minor DDOs, 5 Wheat cents total and a couple of Canadian. Even the coppers are down to 10 - 12 %. I hope you're happy.

Thursday I got a couple of rolls from a local store and one roll had 11 wheats in it, I was really surprised. these were not customer rolls they were bank rolls.

wow, I would say that 1 WAM, and 1 RPM is really pretty good. maybe I am not looking closely enough. I recently went a very long time without finding anything. I just recently fouond a nice 72 1DO-003. I usually find several "modern" DDR doubled coulums. only occasionally listed ones. I know the discussions about being too minor to list - but I look for them anyway. I guess it goes in streaks. good luck.

1 WAM per box! Some of us have yet to find even one! Maybe the law of averages is just catching up to you.

Maybe that means the law of averages will finally pay off for me!

Sorry. I guess I shouldn't gripe. Maybe it was every 2 boxes. My mind is going. Wait a minute-big noise overhead! Wow, it was the Goodyear blimp. Probably going to the Honda Classic golf tournament only about 12 miles north of me. Anyway, I'll be quiet and keep looking. Good luck to all.

numismo, It goes in spurts, naturally. I use to find a lot more, but over the last 6 months I have found 4 WAMs. Fortunately, one of them was my first 1999. They are still out there as is most everything else. Keep the faith, brother.

numismo:

Try saying this, over and over, when you don't find anything that day etc.

"Patience-Perseverance-Persistence!"

Sooner or later something really good will be found by "ME".

Works for me, especially when I keep getting no Silver,ZILCH boxes of Half's.

Keeps me going, lift's my spirits etc. :)

Just click your heals and say "There is no place like home....There is no place like home" It worked for Dorthy in the Wizard of Oz

How can we all click our "HEALS", so it'll work for us like it did for "DORTHY" ?

chuckster and twohawks got it right. My experiance is five dollars worth from every bank in town to start. One of them will be (90% of the time) real good to exceiptional! Then I'll grab them up from that bank.
Sometimes, one bank will be good for a week or two. But, it always turns around and what seems to be a wasted two or three thousand coin search for only a few key dates is only a clue to say, go to the other bank.
I guess the point I have to make is , "When it's Good, It's Good! and When It's Bad , Go to another bank".
I've only found four Wide AM's and have been searching for six months. Still no '99 though. I heard , also, from a well steeped Numismatic buddy of mine, that Like paper currancy, they are "out with the old , in with the new", sellecting old , dirty , worn cents , and replacing with new or close to new.
