Eagle on this 1959 is strong.

From the pics ,, both coins look like 63's to me(unless some of the marks are on the holders) the 58 has a shot at 64,,I cant see the Bell Lines well enough for an opinion.

Hi Rick,
The bell lines are faint, the eagle is strong. I thought the 1958 would be a Type 2 since the eagle is strong. Thank you for your opinion.

I cant see the eagles good enough to check ,, how many feathers Type 1 should have 4 flattened feathers, Type 2 should only have 3 ?

Rick, I'm sorry I mixed it. I'm talking about the 1959. The 58 is very weak. I'm attaching a picture of the 1959 eagle.

As for the number of feathers, I have no idea. The Franklin book that I have does not say anything about the number of feathers. In 1959 the strong eagle was common where as in 1958 only 20% was strong eagles.
