Hello, I have this 1981 penny, and as you can see from the pics,
it doesn't look quite right. Could anyone tell me why this
penny looks as it does? Thanks.

The coin is struck slightly off-center, maybe 5%. Nice!

I think it's a misaligned planchet because the Obv. & Rev. are off center, worth keeping and worth a small premium. If it was only one side that was off center it would be a misaligned die, I think.
