This coin suffers from a few scratches, but my thoughts were Fine details, but net VG because of the scratches.

I would call this VG details with scratches.

If you had to place a value on this coin - details as they are and with scratches, what would be a fair retail price? I'm not entirely sure how to price damaged coins vs. "normal" coins

I'd value it around $70 which is near wholesale price for G04 piece.

So if I were to offer this as a VG details - scratched - G04 @ $65 would that be a fair price?
