Hello.
Some years ago I got given 2 50,000 russian ruble notes. As far as I am aware at the time they were worthless and they have spent all these years in an envelope in a draw, I was recently checking exchange rates before making an online purchase and I noticed russia as an exchange rate option.
Are these notes still in use, and can I exchange them in the uk?
If this is the wrong place to be asking this I appologise.

Thanks

Russian-Rubles.

Thanks

I see this note is from 1995. There was a change in Russia's currency around 1997 and I would assume this note was withdrawn then. Thus, it will not be possible to exchange it abroad.

Please note, this is nothing more than an assumption. I may be wrong.

Yes, this bone not in use in RU after 1997. We have denomination and 50K now as only 50 RUR.

1 GBP ~ 44,5303 RUR (on 5 may 2010) but you dont can make exchange you 50K RUR at 1995 (sorry for repeat :) - this bone not in use now).
