cool find. here is the only Cud I have found. yours has a date, mine does not. I have seen another identical (to mine) photograped in an article. hard to believe yours has been around nearly 23 years, without being taken out of circulation.

Your's looks like it has some kind of imprint on the west side of the Cud. nlp

thats the most common position for a Cud on a Jefferson nickel. The 87's Cud are quite frequently base of bust, it would go for somewhere around $10 if sold.
