As mentioned before, the price has jumped from $8.95 to $11.95.

I have often thought this might make an interesting set to build (dollars and medals), especially if there were an album to support it.

I could not justify the $8.95 for these coin and medal sets when one could spend less and get both the complete dollar and first lady annual sets (and have two copies of each Presidential dollar).

In 2009, one would have lost out by not buying the annual set because there were five spouse medals that year: there were two Tyler spouse medals; the Tyler coin and medal set only had the Julia Tyler medal. By the way, this will occur again in 2013 for President Wilson.

This is fine.....but I'm just not interested in the "Bronze Medal" things....

I "would" like to have EVERY single Gold Proof Spouse coin though ! .....
